Lovely breakfasts, the stay was very lovely!
Actually everything was outstanding, my next choice again in Verdun-sur-Meuse. The dining room served a great selection of meals for breakfast. It was in a stunning location very close to a superb restaurant nearby called Chez Mamie which really does rate very highly and the riverside bars. It was few metres away from Aux Delices du Maroc, where you can have dinner.

I recently stayed at a charming bed & breakfast in Verdun and had a delightful experience. The historic charm and relaxed atmosphere of the place were exactly what I was looking for. The bedroom and bathroom were both cute and cosy, and the breakfast served in the old-style dining room was lovely. The host was incredibly accommodating and even reserved a table for us at a nearby restaurant. Parking was easy, the city centre was within walking distance, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful.
I do recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring the historic sites of Verdun. It may be a bit off track, but it's acceptable considering the value for money. The rooms, though small, are spotless and beautifully decorated with antiques. The breakfast, though not buffet-style, is over the top and of the highest gourmet quality.
All was ok.

The host was lovely and friendly, providing a good breakfast with homemade preserves and local honey. the location was fantastic, with easy on-street parking and just a short drive away from the various memorials and museums in the area. - One advantage I enjoyed was the comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.
The bathroom was across the hall and very small, with a sloping roof that made it difficult to navigate, especially for taller individuals. The bedroom door did not lock, which was a concern for security and privacy.
